Christmas covers on flower towers dazzle in winter

Flower towers beautify cities with colourful vegetation in spring and summer. But that’s not their only use! Christmas covers mean that they can also attract attention and enchant with their beauty in winter. In this article, we present ideas for winter tower arrangements and encourage you to create a unique social campaign in your area.

Functional cascades in spring, summer and later

Beautifully flowered cascades add splendour and colour to any urban space. Pansies, surfinias and geraniums are colourful flowers that are perfect for spring and summer planting. However, in our geographical location, warm and sunny weather does not last long. So what are the possibilities for urban greenery? One of them is to remove the flower towers after the season and store them in a warehouse. This does not have to be the case, as the structures are also perfect for winter arrangements.

After the flowering season, there is no need to dismantle and store the flower towers in the city. The structure becomes a base for a Christmas tree (the cover is connected to the tower with a flat bar). The cover allows the tower to remain in the same place throughout the year. After the festive season, simply remove the decorations and leave the green tree until the next flowering season.

Ideas for winter urban greenery arrangements

Winter is primarily associated with Christmas. This is when many people put up festive decorations. We see them both in open urban spaces and inside companies and public institutions. The main motif of almost every arrangement is the Christmas tree. Natural and artificial trees are placed practically everywhere. If you already have a flower tower, you can turn it into a beautiful Christmas tree!

Standing Christmas covers – turn your cascade into a festive tree

The Terra Christmas brand offers Christmas covers compatible with flower towers and Gianto pots. Each one consists of a galvanised steel frame and a beautiful, dense spruce garland with a diameter of 30 cm. The garland, made of certified PVC foil, perfectly imitates natural pine needles. The covers for cascade structures can also be used as stand-alone Christmas trees. The available cone-shaped models range in height from 120 cm to 650 cm.

Decorating flower towers according to your own design

A plastic garland works very well as a festive decoration, especially outdoors. However, if you want to go for natural decorations, you can also create them using flower towers. All you need to do is use branches from coniferous trees. Once they are densely attached, the whole thing will resemble a live Christmas tree! Then you can show off your own creativity.

We invite you to participate in a social campaign – decorating Christmas covers

Creating festive decorations together has the power to unite people, both adults and children. This was exactly the case during the Easter egg painting event for example in Witnica. The municipal authorities’ initiative was aimed at the youngest residents of the entire municipality, who, under the supervision of their carers, decorated large eggs provided by the Terra Group. The finished colourful decorations then became an Easter accent in the urban space.

Why not undertake a similar project for Christmas? After all, decorating the Christmas tree has become one of the most popular activities associated with Christmas preparations in December. Although we sell decorations such as baubles in various sizes, colours and finishes, LED lights and openwork stars to go with Terra Christmas covers, we warmly encourage you to show your own initiative.

A social initiative that allows people to show off their creativity and spend time together may prove to be a hit in your town or community. Do you want to get the local community involved? Consider decorating Christmas trees together!
