This small town, located in a region of Upper Franconia, is known for its textile heritage and the surrounding green hills and forests. Though Münchberg is relatively small, it offers visitors tranquility, beautiful landscapes, and an authentic Bavarian atmosphere. Despite its traditional character, the town embraces innovation, surprising with its modern approach to urban space design.
In Münchberg, you can admire historic buildings and atmospheric streets, as well as carefully planned green public spaces. The town, caring for the comfort of its residents and visitors, integrates landscape architecture solutions that combine aesthetics with functionality in the urban landscape.

On our walk through the town, we came across impressive large Gianto Grande planters, which have become key elements in organizing the urban landscape. Positioned along the parking area, they separated it from the sidewalk and street, functioning as green-style barriers. These large planters provided structure and added both aesthetic and functional value to the public space.
Additionally, we encountered beautifully flowered towers and Plane Ring planters in Münchberg. Spread across various points of the town, these large planters brought life to the streets, adding color and a welcoming atmosphere.

Germany: Part 1 – Gera and 8 Colorful Planters That Will Change Your Perspective on Urban Decorations
Today, we’re taking you on a trip to the picturesque city of Gera, where we’re starting our series of posts about the German cities we visited during our tour this year. And this is just the beginning – we still have 15 amazing places in Germany ahead of us, and from each city, we’ve captured fantastic photos for you! 📸
During this journey, we discovered impressive urban compositions full of flowers and plants. Colorful planters, beautiful flower beds, and even extraordinary urban decorations suspended above – all of this created an atmosphere that took our breath away. 🌺🌿 Today, we begin with Gera and its amazing polyethylene planters. Ranging from a 1.5-meter giant to few others at 75 centimeters each, these Easter decorations not only beautified the surroundings but also infused the residents with a festive spirit, emphasizing the beauty of community and local collaboration.

Colorful urban Easter eggs, also known as “Prokopki,” graced the market square in Strzelce Krajeńskie, not just symbolizing cherished traditions but also enchanting with intricate patterns.
